About Ansgar Lee

Acupuncture chelsea ny

Ansgar gets countless questions of why he chose acupuncture as his profession. Throughout the years of his childhood, he suffered from severe seasonal allergies and frequent colds. His immune system was weak, and he could sneeze twenty or more times a minute making him gasp for air. His allergies were so severe it affected his concentration and sleep pattern. He was allergic to many environmental allergens such as dust, trees, grass, weeds, pollen, cats, dogs, and certain foods. He visited numerous doctors and was prescribed a list of medications. One doctor told his family to move to California because allergen levels were lower. Needless to say, the medications were not helpful and moving cross country was not an option. As a last resort, his parents brought him to see a Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist. After about 10 sessions of acupuncture and Chinese Herbs he felt a difference; something finally worked. He was able to breathe a fresh breath of air again.

Now is his chance to provide care to the community and offer Chinese medicine for it's incredible healing effects.  Experience the difference acupuncture can make for allergy and asthma relief, pain relief, help with insomnia, anxiety, depression, fertility, weight loss, among many others.

Our mission is to provide affordable and effective acupuncture treatments to the community.

The Acupuncture style he practices for pain results in immediate pain reduction. His area of focus are pain management, women's health, Infertility, allergies, and asthma.

Marina Ferraro LAC 2.jpg

Marina Ferraro, M. Sc., L. Ac., is a graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture, where she trained in three distinct acupuncture styles: Japanese style with Kiiko Matsumoto, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Acupuncture Physical Medicine, which included intensive study of muscle-trigger-point release, or "dry needling."  Marina's approach to health gives priority to pain relief, followed by investigation of the root of the problem, ideally to eliminate the patient's complaint at its source.

A former needle-phobe, Marina was inspired to become an acupuncturist after her own medical issues led her to acupuncture. She experienced, personally, acupuncture's ability to treat many conditions that are not easily addressed by Western medicine. She believes that the best approach to wellness is a synergistic one that includes the best of both Eastern and Western medicine.

Prior to practicing acupuncture, Marina was a yoga teacher and actor/singer, with roles in a Broadway National Tour, and in television. She continues to teach YogAlign-style yoga, and also teaches for Yoga4Cancer. She completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University.
